I've decided to quit being emo about this whole thing. It's not helping me or anyone else who happens to be in the line of fire.
Ran out of vitamins and my body was craving iron. Ate a lunch consisting entirely of green vegetables. It really hit home that I was EATING LEAVES, that was slightly weird.
Last night Diana and I fell asleep with our room door open, and I woke up at 3am going HOMG IS IT SCHOOL DID DIANA ALREADY LEAVE??? But things were good.
I'm visiting a monastery tonight. Well it's got nuns, but maybe they still call those monasteries? Anyhow it's Catholic. I'm really excited. I've seriously considered converting to Catholicism or Orthodoxy and becoming a nun (do they have Greek Orthodox nuns? I know they have monks), so I want to see what it's like.
The Buddhist thing was OK, I felt like slapping the lady for being too New Age though.
Oh man Web Design is such a sweet class. Easy, clear, understandable. With people who aren't complete idiots. Even if it is all outdated and people in the real world really aren't using basic HTML.
I've found that at every school I've ever attended, I've either found refuge in the library or in the computer lab. The same is holding true here. Mostly for the computer lab, but the library is wonderful. It's like I died and went to bookworm heaven. Since I have enough books to read, I generally read periodicals like magazines. Or I bring my own book and chill in the air conditioning. Ugggh that was a bad pun
Speaking of the air conditioning (or lack thereof in most places) even Maged, who is from Saudi Arabia, is complaining of the heat. It's like 100 degrees and 100% humidity. So basically 85-95 degrees and raining. But it's not as bad as it could be.
OK time for class now...
